I agree SEO is extremely important. In fact we build and submit site maps daily to Google, Bing, Yahoo & Ask Also if you look at the bottom of the front forum page you will see we are now also showing what spiders are on the system currently. I also not only own hostboard.com but, .net, .org, .biz, .mobi, .us, .info

Also I just realized there was mention back a few threads as to the change in URLs vs just not allowing for duplicate content and I did not want you to think I was skipping the comment. We actualy did vist this idea and found that we need to to lock tables and scan for redundent information. Seeing as there are a few hundred forums, not a big deal. Given we grow to a few thousand then we are back at square one with a very laggy system. We really tried to come up with a solution as we knew the URL change was really not going to win any fans but in the end everyhting we did took a performance hit and if we grew the performance hit grew as well.
